TEACHING: ANOTHER CHOICE YOU HAVE STUDYING PHILOLOGY AND LANGUAGES AT U.N.

BEING A TEACHER, MORE THAN A PERSONAL CHALLENGE... IT IS A SOCIAL COMPROMISE. Adriana Norato Publicado en Capital Letter No. 1 Junio de 2002    Nowadays the Globalization phenomenon has broken the concept of boundary countries, cultures or even societies, and in this way obliging us to be more competent in several areas as it is the communication field. WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS WITH THE CAREER?

Imagen
Vicky Londoño Publicado en Capital Letter No. 1 Junio de 2002 Reflection As students of English at advanced level in Philology and Languages we have reflected upon our process since we began the career. The study of English and Spanish is one of those fields in which a philologist can be interested in. For some students the expectations of studying Philology and ...

CAPITAL LETTER 1: EDITORIAL

Publicado en Capital Letter No. 1 Junio de 2002   There was a time when you felt you were unable to do something. Today you surprise yourself doing it." The newsletter you have in your hands is the result of the joint effort of the students of English basic VI together with their teacher. The idea of a Newsletter began when the students from sixth semester majoring in Language and Philology realized that the school needed an informal way to communicate among them. In this way, it could be possible to share different opinions and expectations, as well as publishing information concerning the academic community. The objective of this project is to start a Language and Philology school newsletter that can be thought as a window, a channel of communication among language students and as a way to reflect upon the academic environment surrounding the school. This collaborative effort goes to show that if people have the will and the drive, it is possible to make dreams come ...
